Assistant Principal Bio: Elaine Parker
Elaine Parker is the Assistant Principal at Amesti School, where she has spent her entire educational career. Previous to her administrative work at Amesti, she was a 4th grade bilingual teacher at the school. She has a great deal of passion for working with students and parents. She works hard at organizing school events and fundraisers, running student council and working on the ins and outs of helping to run a school, ensuring the students, staff and families have what they need to be part of a safe, intelligent and committed working community. Over the past seven years, she has helped keep the arts program alive by working to secure grant money from the Packard Foundation, hiring and supporting the various dance, music, drama and visual artists, creating the weekly art schedules and facilitating the schools’ art team. She is a proud and dedicated employee. She values her relationships with her coworkers and loves children, having two boys of her own who will one day attend the schools in the Pajaro Valley Unified School District.
